Admitting to Being a Dork(Or: Why Jen got a Japanese FMA GBA Game When she Can't Read Japanese)

Okay, so, I was looking at Play-Asia's site to see what they had, and, while looking at all of the FMA games that I either already own(the two PS2 games that were released in the US, and the US version of Dual Sympathy) or will never get to play(the PS2 games that will never be released over here because I don't have the money for a Japanese PS2 and I'm not about to get my PS2 modded), and found FMA: Sonata of Memory(RPG on the GBA) for a pretty good price(and very cheap shipping...shipping was, like, $2.30 for the cheapest shipping, and Play-Asia insures every package, no matter which option you choose).

Naturally, since the GBA games are never going to be released in the US, and I'm a major FMA nut, of course I snatched it up, even though I can't read a lick of Japanese! It was about $18.50, even with shipping, that's less than you can occasionally find it for on eBay(where I also got a copy of Bleach DS 2nd, which arrived yesterday).

Anyway, it arrived yesterday, and, playing it with a walkthrough( http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/921186/31442 ), it's still a playable game, even if you can't read Japanese(though I'm learning a few new kanji ^^; ). So far, I'm really enjoying it, even though I can only play it while sitting in front of the computer(the walkthrough linked above has all the storyline dialogue translated as well as, of course,  information on how to play the game).

As of this entry, it's out of stock at Play-Asia(along with the first GBA game), and it's not even listed on Yes Asia(where I'm importing Gyakuten Saiban/Ace Attorney 3 from, since it has the English script included on the cart, I can't wait until next month for this game...it should get here in the next day or so, then I'll have another conundrum...3 games I like and only 2 slots on my DS. ^^; ), so, really, trying to get it for a decent price on eBay is the only option for getting FMA: Sonata of Memory.

And, so, there you have it...I'm admitting to being a major dork. XD
