So, after the happiness of Monday's official announcement of FF7: Advent Children's release date(I forgot to put an entry in this blog for that...I pre-ordered the movie on Saturday before the official announcement. I had a feeling that it was going to be released in the Spring... ^^; ),I got to deal with the drudgery that was Valentine's Day yesterday, which is, quite possibly, the worst day in the year to be single. That's because of one simple reason...when you're single, it makes you extra aware of all the couples out there, either because you get to watch them practically make out in public after exchanging gifts with stupid little pink and/or red hearts on the wrapping or because you see the rather panicked people trying to find something that won't get them in trouble with their significant other(that goes into my daily rant of how materialistic people are). If I weren't single, I'd be easy to shop for on Valentine's Day...a stupid little gift wouldn't be necessary(well...I'd accept a box of chocolates if he insisted on getting me something, anyway...I'm easy to please...I love chocolate ^^; ). Just his love would be enough for me...the same gift that he'd be giving me throughout the year. I'm of the opinion that, if you truly love each other, then making a special effort to get each other silly little gifts just for Valentine's Day is useless. Gifts are just possessions...it's the love that counts in a romantic relationship.

Gah, I got mushy there for a bit...actually, I was getting the feeling that, if I had to see one more stupid little pink/red/white heart, I was going to become violently ill.

On an unrelated note, there's a good chance we'll get snow over the weekend. It was feeling more like Spring than Winter until it got cool today. If we get snow, I'll be happy...I love snow(but, paradoxically, I hate the cold ^^; ).
